Central stock

Typical of 'Central' stock is that several consumers may access this stock simultaneously. Depending on aspects such as the size of the location and consumption, either one central stock or a localised stock for each department can be set up. The central stock can be used for production purposes and also, or exclusively, for repairs and maintenance.

Substantial consumption

Because several different users use the same stock, consumption is substantial and the ups and downs in individual consumption levels are levelled out. This creates the opportunity for more effective stock management.
